Technology on its way to Samuelson classrooms!

Last night at the January PTO meeting Holly Barcus, our Released Dean, presented a Technology proposal to the PTO.  School staff requested that the PTO purchase 20 I-Pads for classroom use.  The PTO voted unanimously to purchase the I-Pads and to add the Technology Fund to our on-going budget.  Ms. Barcus stated there is a need for an additional 13 I-Pads (so each classroom has 3) and ongoing funds to purchase educational apps.

So Thank-You! Samuelson families for supporting the PTOs fundraising efforts so we can help get our students the resources they need!

At the meeting it was also decided to use all proceeds from the upcoming Family Fun Night for the Technology Fund.  Fun Night Friday, March 1 from 6-8 pm.  We'll be asking for your help that evening, doing some "behind the scenes" work and donating items (to keep our costs down and more money in the Technology Fund).  Please consider how you can help make the evening fun for our students!
